Awesome! I shall see what I can do with that, I really want to lean only towards horror with this particular page, so I may have to limit my list to 15 horror directors instead of 15 overall film directors. I can guarantee you some of those on your list (Carpenter, Raimi, possibly Landis) will make my list.
We are AFTER DARK FILMS, the film studio and production company best known for Horrorfest “8 Films To Die For,” an annual, nationwide theatrical event. We want to include you in our news & publicity outreach.
In addition to horror, After Dark is now producing ACTION FILMS in collaboration with Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment. Later in 2011, we’ll be releasing original action films including Transit, starring Jim Caveziel (The Passion of the Christ), James Frain (True Blood), Elizabeth Rohm (Law and Order), and Harold Perrineau (Lost); and Dragon Eyes with Jean-Claude Van Damme (Universal Soldier: Regeneration) and martial arts star Cung Le (Pandorum). More titles will be announced shortly.
As you may have heard, we were pleased to announce that After Dark Films– in partnership with Lionsgate & Syfy– has created a new series, After Dark Originals (ADO). With ORIGINALS, we have taken the horror film festival concept to the next level, giving fans a role in developing the projects we produce. At the end of January 2011, we released the following 8 films under the ADObanner: Husk, Fertile Ground, Scream of the Banshee, Prowl, The Task,Re-Kill, Seconds Apart and 51, starring brand-name talents like Lauren Holly (Dumb & Dumber), Orlando Jones (Drum Line), Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5), Leisha Halley (The L Word), Gale Harold (Queer as Folk) and Bruce Payne (Passenger 57). http://www.afterdarkoriginals.com

hi John,
i’m nicole. i really love cinema, but i have to say that i’m not a specialist about horror cinema. i watched some horror’s film, but not so much like you, but anyway the last one that i really liked was 28 days later of danny boyle and i think it’s one of the best horror movie i’ve ever seen! i’ll like to follow your suggestions about this genre!
As an avid horror fan, and one that is fully aware that we have different points of view on horror films, this is my way of getting my thoughts on horror films out there. Whether you agree with my philosophy on horror flicks, you can read my entries and still get a basic rundown of what the film is about and what it entails, which will help you decide whether or not you would like to give the flick a watch.
I hope you enjoy your time here.
Any suggestions and/or comments are always appreciated.
Hi, nice to meet you !
Hey, John.
I tagged you in a 15 Directors Meme, if you feel like having a go at it. I’d be curious to see your choices.

I look forward to seeing your list, John. As a huge horror fan, myself, I’d keen to see who you choose.
Thanx for the great review of Cold Prey 2
Nice!

You are very welcome Mat, the great review was well-deserved. Cold Prey 2 also made my Top 100 Horror Movies of the Decade(2000-2009) list as well.
